Our Commercial Property Group has extensive experience of carrying out a wide variety of real estate work. We act for both commercial Landlords and commercial Tenants.
The spectrum of our Commercial Property work ranges from drafting new leases (including leases excluding the lease renewal provisions contained in the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954), assignment of existing leases, licenses to assign, advice in the negotiation of rent reviews and acquisition and disposal of freehold properties and businesses.
We are also able to provide specialist legal advice on licensing. We regularly deal with transfers and applications for new licenses.
We have developed a special expertise in the acquisition and sale of commercial investment properties – both by private treaty and at auction.
Our Commercial Property Group also has experience of representing both Landlord and Tenant in proceedings for possession of commercial premises.

Costs
We offer an initial consultation which is free of charge. It is aimed at understanding the nature of your problem and assessing whether (and how) we may be able to assist. If we agree to deal with
your case, we shall discuss the basis for calculating our charges for further advice.
The overall cost will depend on a number of factors including :
- your individual circumstance;
- the scope and nature of the work required; and
- the complexity and importance of the matter
Wherever possible, we shall endeavour to provide you with an estimate of costs before you decide to go ahead.
